Ryan Haugen

Narrator & voice over artist

I am a narrator and voice over artist from a rather flat part of the US. I can be heard in everything from audio books, audio dramas, video games, e-Learning, YouTube videos, Graphic Audio productions, and more.I have narrated/produced more than 60 audio books on Audible, including 2020’s Indies Today Book of the Year, “One Hit Away: A Memoir of Recovery”, written by Jordan Barnes.I’m a frequent collaborator with Audivita, Silverton Audio, Spectrum Audiobooks, and The Talking Book.I am passionately dedicated to consuming media as much as I am producing it! My lifelong passion for animation, cinema, and video games informs my voice over approach.I’m always hunting for new projects to hone my craft and look forward to hearing from authors and rights holders who wish to collaborate with me.

  • "Ryan did a great job doing voice work for my EFL coursebook. I hope we can work together in the future. I definitely recommend this professional for any of your projects!" -Guslazz, Learn English Com Gus

  • "Ryan provided us with high quality work, including great voice acting and good quality recordings. We even selected him to two different roles, since his acting was better than everyone else's, who applied to these roles (there were over 20). I would definitely recommend him; he is one of the best voice actors we met." -Sound Mind Games

  • "Ryan voiced an important character in my video game demo project. He gave me excellently recorded voice lines that needed absolutely no redoes. It was exactly what I was looking for. The lines were also submitted to me in a quick and timely manner. Can't recommend him enough." -Datchcole, creator of 'Vaporwyrm'

  • "Incredible, touching, authentic, inspiring.... This is by far one of the most authentic and well written memoirs I have ever read and/or heard; with the narrators voice inflection perfectly matched to capture the insecure, not quite too jaded...with a touch of innate innocence, goodness, sweetness.." -Audible review

  • "Highly HIGHLY recommended! ...Reading this was like watching a movie in my head, it was that well-written. The Audible version is also superb. Good choice of a narrator - feeling and emotion emanates. I get chills listening to parts of this, even after having read the written version." -Audible review

  • "Dark, Gritty and INSPIRING ...Honest and raw book about addiction and recovery. I'm a fellow heroin addict in recovery and this book really resonated with me. The narrator did a great job portraying the desperation of heroin addiction. highly recommend to anyone in recovery, still struggling with addiction, or to anyone who loves an addict and wants to gain insight." -Audible review
